Tutoring my son Adam in A2 Biology for a few months now. Adam finds the tutoring style excellent and overall extremely helpful, as he is aiming for an A/A*. Also able to adapt tutoring to suit the Northern Irish exam board, CCEA, requirements, which was something that many other tutors were reluctant to undertake, which shows confidence in subject expertise and tutoring abilities. I am in my First year of Biomedical Sciences, undergraduate study. Really helped me understand the content I am currently covering at University in a clear and thorough manner. Making it easier to understand the work. Uses a range of teaching techniques and tailors to my study needs and uses detailed diagrams making it easier for me to understand the topic. Provides many resources such as powerpoints, articles and notes which all help me in my learning and I can easily access them. Responses are very quick and I can ask for help even outside of our weekly tuitions which is very helpful. Also gives very good advice on how to revise and on what areas I should focus on. Having gone through the same course as me, so can relate and give detailed advice on how to approach problems that I am facing within my course. My confidence in revision and conquering difficult modules in my course has vastly improved in just a few lessons. I would really recommend having tuition if looking for a biomedical tutor.
